João Baltazar

Graduation in Marine Engineering in 1999 and Phd in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. His Phd major topic was the potential flow modelling on wings and marine propellers with a Boundary Element Method. Since then he has been working on the prediction of the aero/hydro-dynamic performance for marine propellers, marine current turbines and wind turbines using a blade-element momentum model, a lifting line code, a boundary element code and a viscous-flow RANS code.
